busses and hiking and trains, oh my!

Currently in newport with 5 minutes to spare on the internet. Things have been surprisingly smooth, despite a few small hiccups in last-minute plan changes (which are to be expected). But camping and hiking and seeing the countryside is amazing. It is a beautiful, beautiful country.

Journaling and photographing a lot, so I will update with more when I return. Catching time online is difficult.

On our way to Snowdonia, a national park in Wales, to camp for 3 nights. Then its up to the Lake ddistrict, scotland, whitby, york, portsmouth, FRANCE, GERMANY, home!
a bit of a whirlwind, but its still feeling slow.

seen such beautiful rolling hills, villages, cottages. wanting to buy one, terribly.

i fall asleep every time i get on the train, its so soothing, so i've missed alot of the countryside that way. it's starting to look all the same: LUCIOUS green masses everywhere, sweet little villages and old castles tucked away.

we were in chepstow last night and got to wander around the castle there... the oldest in wales/britain. crumbling, it is the epitome of "castle" with turrets and things like that.

having a lot of fun with blake. we went swimming last night! (some campsites are better than others) but a cow in a neighboring field sounded like it was DYING all night, which was slightly annoying.

The sun rises so early and sets so late here. like 6am-10pm. Makes a nice long day of sightseeing.

Off to Snowdonia!!
